Common Questions from Homeowners
What areas of Georgia does DWR Services LLC cover?
DWR Services LLC works with homeowners in Cobb, Paulding and parts of Bartow, Carroll, Cherokee, Douglas, Haralson, and Polk Counties in Georgia. That includes Dallas, Hiram, Douglasville, Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, Powder Springs, Cartersville, Carrollton, Villa Rica, Bremen, Rockmart, Cedartown, Lithia Springs, Woodstock and Temple, along with the smaller communities in between.
Do you take small jobs, or only large projects?
We do large projects, however some small residential jobs are a a part of what we do. Replacing a light fixture or a GFI outlet, fixing a running toilet, swapping a kitchen faucet, repairing a few rotted deck boards or installing flooring in a single room are all normal jobs here.
Is the estimate free?
Yes. Call (678) 332-6795 and we will talk through what you want to accomplish and if it is something we can help with we'll give you a free estimate with no obligation.
What kinds of work do you handle most often?
The most common projects are deck repairs, new decks, LVP (luxury vinyl plank) flooring, cement board siding, and small electrical and plumbing work - switches, outlets, GFI outlets, ceiling fans, light fixtures, kitchen and bath faucets, shower heads, toilet fill valves, and traps and drains. Many other home repair and improvement projects are handled too, so it is worth asking.
What happens if my project costs more than I want to spend?
We will explain why your desired project doesn't fit within your budget, rather than pushing you into something that doesn't feel right. If your project and the budget don't line up, we will say so, part on good terms, and be here if things change later.
What background do you bring to home repair work?
Twenty-five years as a mechanical and design engineer and another ten as a quality and reliability engineer, plus a lifetime of hands-on building that started at age 10 helping build the family home. That background shows up as methodical problem solving and close attention to detail on every job.
